Colo Colo ended his participation in the first round bitterly after the defeat against Copiapówhich drove away the whites six points from the University of Chile in the fight for the title.
It was Cacique’s fifth loss in the tournament, demonstrating Cacique’s ups and downs throughout the season. That is why the arrival of reinforcements seems urgent for coach Jorge Almirón.
And although everything points to bringing in a forward who is a good scorer and even a creative midfielder like Luciano Cabral, Marcelo Barticciotto surprised by ensuring that the coach plans to reinforce a position that no one had in his plans.
Colo Colo’s covered reinforcement
“I heard that the coach was thinking about a center, be careful with that,” he said in the Radio Cooperativa broadcast once the match against the Atacama team was over.
Barti added that “we don’t take it into account (the bringing of a defender), but the coach seems to, because he thinks he needs it.”
Colo Colo’s defenders
Colo Colo, for the central position, has the starters Alan Saldivia and Maximiliano Falcón. The reserves are Emiliano Amor and Ramiro González, two players who do not trust coach Jorge Almirón.
He also has Daniel Gutiérrez, Cacique’s youth player, who, however, he places more as a left back since he has not been given the chance to be central this season.
