Talleres already has a rival for the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores, after the draw held this Monday at the Conmebol headquarters in Luque (Paraguay). The “T”, which finished second in Group B, will have to face River in the next instance, which was the best team in the group stage.
The first match of this tie will be played in Córdoba, while the rematch will be played at the Monumental de Núñez.

Belgrano already knows from which playoff bracket (B) his rival will emerge for the round of 16 of the Copa Sudamericana, after the draw held this Monday at the Conmebol headquarters in Luque (Paraguay). El Pirata finished first in Group C, waiting for the winner of qualifying B. Those matches will be finalized with the pending matches between Inter and Gremio de Porto Alegre.
The first leg for Pirata will be as a visitor, while the rematch will be played in Córdoba, at the Mario Alberto Kempes.

This is how Talleres arrived
Walter Ribonetto’s team reached the next stage by being second in Group B of the Libertadores since, due to goal difference, they finished behind the leader São Paulo.
Belgrano did it because they won Group C of the Copa Sudamericana, despite the fact that Inter de Porto Alegre has two games pending, due to the floods in southern Brazil.
The event will take place this Monday, from 1:00 p.m., at the CSF headquarters, located in Luque (Paraguay) and will be broadcast on the official Facebook and YouTube channels, plus ESPN 3 and Fox Sports, as well as via streaming through of the Star+ platform.

For the second time in history, the “T” surpassed the group stage, since the first was in the 2022 edition, its immediate previous participation. Talleres will occupy pot 2, the second in each zone. For now, Bolivia’s The Strongest leads that group with 10 points, in six games. Huachipato from Chile follows, with eight units on five dates. Then comes Gremio with six in four matches and Estudiantes de La Plata closes with four in five.

Belgrano will occupy pot 1, along with the other top seven in the zones, for having won Group C, with 12 points and above the powerful and expensive Internacional of Brazil, which still has two games pending and could finish second.
Being first for Juan Cruz Real’s team ensured that they played the first game of the bracket as a visitor and defined the tie at home.
The first are those who go to pot 1: in addition to Belgrano, Independiente Medellín from Colombia, Cruzeiro from Brazil, Fortaleza from Brazil, Sportivo Ameliano from Paraguay, Corinthians from Brazil, Lanús and Racing Club appear there.
Those who qualified second and will face the third from the Libertadores are: Always Ready from Bolivia, Universidad Católica de Ecuador, MouthParanaense from Brazil, Racing from Uruguay, Cuaibá from Brazil, Bragantino from Brazil.
One place is missing, which depends on what happens in Group C.
The round of 16 duels are not drawn: they are defined between the best second place from Sudamericana and the worst third place from Libertadores, with home-field advantage for the Sudamericana team.
