Unofficially it has been reported that the 37-year-old footballer intends a relationship of at least least two years, while the managers would make him an offer of only one year.

However, this Thursday, June 6, Carlos Bacca himself clarified the situation. The forward explained in conversation with Habla Deportes that he spoke with Jhon Char, with whom he took stock of what was done in the semester, but who also expressed the team’s intention to confirm his continuity.

“I had a conversation with Jhon Char. They talked about the semester and that something will be done these days, they have given me some peace of mind, that they are happy with my performance and want me to continue. They wanted to know what I thought. Both parties want to continue. We will have to agree on what the contract will be like. He will have a meeting with Mr. Fuad,” he stated.

For now, Carlos Bacca will travel with his family to Spain to enjoy the holidays and would return to the country in the last days of June.
