El Poderoso already knows his rivals for the continental tournament.

After the group stage of the Copa Sudamericana ended this Saturday with Internacional’s victory over Delfín, clubs like Independiente Medellín already know their rivals in the final stages of the tournament.

Given the victory of the Brazilians, the Playoffs of the tournament were organized, which will be the phase in which the best third parties of the Copa Libertadores face each other against the second in each group of the Sudamericana.

That said, Medellín, the only Colombian alive in the tournament, will face the winner of Playoff C where Palestino from Chile and Cuiabá from Brazil will face each other.

Let us remember that Palestino has just finished third in the Millonarios group in the Copa Libertadores and had a prominent role against the rivals in that area.

Likewise, if they advance to the quarterfinals, Medellín will have as a rival the winner of key F that will be between Lanús from Argentina and the winner of the Playoff between Liga de Quito and Always Ready.

It should be noted that Conmebol has not given the official dates for both the Playoffs and the round of 16, but the competition will continue from the month of August.
