Ben Brereton would stay in the Premier League: historic team considers him for next season

Ben Brereton could continue in the Premier League in the 2024-25 season, since at least two teams in the United Kingdom’s main league intend to have the Chilean national team for the coming months.

One of the teams that would analyze the option of hiring Ben for next season is West Ham of London, currently managed by the Spanish Julen Lopetegui, and which has the Chilean among its options to reinforce the attack, reports the site En Cancha.

The information, originating from the Hummers News portal, indicates that Lopetegui put Brereton as an option for the London team’s attack, although it would not be the first option, since he also proposed the Moroccan Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla.

But the Hummers would not be the only ones analyzing the hiring of the forward of English origin, as the recently promoted Southampton also, could hire the Chilean for next season.

“Southampton want to bring in a new striker this summer. “Ben Brereton Diaz and Liam Delap are on the list, there is still hope that Che Adams will also stay,” said the English journalist from The Sun, Jack Rosser on his X account.

Although the Chilean could return to his origins and continue in the Premier at the same time, since Nottingham Forrest – a team that once won the European Cup or Champions League twice – would also consider the incorporation of the winger.

“(Nottingham) Forest would also listen to offers for striker Taiwo Awoniyi and will consider an operation for their former striker Ben Brereton-Díaz, currently under contract with Villarreal, if they sell the Nigerian,” the Daily Mail said.
