This Tuesday the third stage of the Tour of Switzerland 2024, which once again featured the prominence of the Colombian runners.
Several things happened during the day, but the first thing to highlight is the retirement of Nairo Quintana (Movistar Team), who suffered a fracture in his hand and that led him to not start the stage.
For its part, Egan Bernal (INEOS) rose more than 20 places in the general classification and was placed in the box 17 just 16” behind the leader who is Alberto Bettiol (EF Education – EasyPost).
