James Aguirre was one of the figures of Once Caldas in Liga I 2024 that will end this Saturday with the match between Independiente Santa Fe – Atlético Bucaramanga.
He played 21 games and saved four penalties. It was decisive for Once Caldas to qualify for the semifinals of the Championship after 5 years and 9 competitions without doing so.
The Club has just announced that James Aguirre will continue with the team for three more seasons. He reached an agreement with the player to buy his sporting rights and have him for three years, six championships, not counting the Cup and if he accesses an international competition.
The player arrived from Atlético Bucaramanga, replacing the Paraguayan Gerardo Ortíz and defends the Blanco goal alongside the Argentine Ezequiel Mastrolía.
