The Sub 15 of Colo Colo became champion of the first semester tournament after beating 1-0 University of Chile. An achievement that the albos achieved thanks to one of the stars of the quarry: the young Maikel Peña.
The battering ram demonstrated in the Quilín complex of the ANFP a lot of power to withstand the mark of two rivals, before defining with a crossed left foot before the departure of the U goal.
A goal that led Cacique fans to baptize him “Mbappeña”, in reference to star Kylian Mbappé, who has just signed a contract with Real Madrid.
The white fans, upon seeing this goal on social networks, immediately began to write about the player. “He should already be training in the squad”, “make him debut in the Chile Cup” and “how great Mbappeña” were some of the comments from the fans.
Maikel Peña and his Colombian origin
Peña has Colombian blood, which can be seen in his Threads account where he shows the world with this nationality, by hanging the flag of the coffee-growing country.
He is highly valued in the Colo Colo youth teams by the coaches, although they understand that he is a boy who is in the process of training and should only be given tools.
In fact, there is an issue that must be polished: character. This was demonstrated in the final, as he was involved in a dispute with the Universidad de Chile player Matías González, which ended in the expulsion of both young men.
