In the last season of his professional career, Rigoberto Urán, runner-up in the Tour de France in 2017, will not compete in the most prestigious race in cycling. EF Educaction Easypost, his team, did not include him in the payroll that will run the Grand Boucle.
Running for EF will be Richard Carapaz (Ecuador), who will be the leader of the final, Alberto Bettiol (Italy), Neilson Powless and Sean Quinn (United States), Ben Healy (Ireland), Marijn van den Berg (Netherlands), Rui Costa ( Portugal) and Stefan Bissegger (Switzerland).
