TORONTO — Tyler O’Neill hit two of Boston’s four home runs, Nick Pivetta pitched seven innings and the Boston Red Sox beat the Toronto Blue Jays 7-3 on Monday for their sixth win in eight games.

A day after setting a team record with nine stolen bases, the Red Sox clawed their way to victory by going deep four times against Yusei Kikuchi, tying the worst mark of his career.

Boston did not steal a base, but Romy González was caught stealing twice.

Pivetta (4-4) allowed three runs and nine hits. He walked one and struck out four.

Brad Keller got five outs, but exited after two Blue Jays reached base in the ninth. Kenley Jansen came in and retired Davis Schneider for his 12th save in 13 opportunities.

The Red Sox have scored five or more runs eight times in 12 games. Boston is 27-15 when he hits at least one home run, and 11-20 without one.

Kikuchi (4-6) allowed five runs and seven hits in four innings. He walked none and struck out seven.

For the Red Sox, Mexican-American Jarren Duran was 1-for-5 with one run scored. Dominican Rafael Devers was 1 for 4 with one run scored and two RBIs.

For the Blue Jays, Canadian-Dominican Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 4-1.
