The Blanco y Negro leadership held an extraordinary board meeting on Monday afternoon. The directors of Colo Colo touched on several points, where the topic of reinforcement was touched upon, where they try to speed up the work to be able to meet Jorge Almirón’s demands for the second part of the year. The instance also served to make some changes within the institution such as in Operations, but also within Youth Football of the Popular cast.

It was April 2019 and in the Cacique, Gabriel Ruiz Tagle and Marcelo Espina promoted the arrival of Ariel Paolorossi. Los Albos were looking for a new job in their lower divisions, where the objective was to have an ambitious project. The main mission of this was to ensure that several footballers born at home could join the Colocolino first team. The event caused a conflict within the concessionaire, since Aníbal Mosa was not convinced by the arrival of the Argentine to Young Football.

After five years and Mosa’s presidency fell and by mutual agreement, Paolorossi will leave his position as head of the Young Football area. The Argentine’s departure occurs in a mutual agreement with the Colocolina leadership, so he will leave the Monumental Stadium. Thus, The Joint Stock Company, managed by Blanco y Negro, will seek to restructure the training area to find better results.

According to La Tercera, from Blanco y Negro they decided to leave Hugo González as interim boss. Now, Aníbal Mosa’s mission is to find a replacement. The Cacique is already working to carry out this task and to be able to announce news during the coming weeks so that once Paolorossi’s departure is finalized, his replacement can be met in a position where the Popular wants to have better results.

Infrastructure work paralyzed

On the other hand, and as La Tercera adds, the renovations in relation to the Young Football infrastructure were paralyzed. Since the arrival of Alfredo Stöhwing to the presidency until today, there have been several works to modernize the Young Football facilities. Changing rooms, gyms, medical areas, among others, were modified to improve the infrastructure for cadets.

Furthermore, it is added that The works that had a cost of 160 million pesos were paralyzed. Thus, we will also have to know what will happen to them and if the projects that were left unfinished will be resumed.

The work of Ariel Paolorossi for the Colo Colo first team

During his stay, there are still footballers in the Cacique who emerged in the lower divisions and others who stood out and were later sold. Among the players who continue to be with Jorge Almirón, the following stand out: Daniel Gutiérrez, Bruno Gutiérrez, Vicente Pizarro, Alexander Oroz, Diego Plaza, Lucas Soto and Alan Saldivia. Although everyone has participated in the first team, only the Uruguayan defender has become an important piece. The defender is the undisputed starter in Jorge Almirón’s team.

The other case is that of Leandro Hernandez. The footballer who participated was lowered to the lower divisions of the Colocolino club. At the same time, it should also be mentioned what happened with Damián Pizarro. The attacker, after making his debut in the first team, was sold to Udinese in Serie A.
