Millonarios has already begun to plan everything that will be the second semester in football terms, after having had a disappointing first part of the year after not having achieved the objectives in the BetPlay League and the Copa Libertadores.

Due to these poor results that the ambassadors acquired in the first semester, the capital team would give up the services of two players from the professional team, who had poor performance and ended up being relegated throughout the championship.

According to information from journalists Julián Capera and Juan Felipe Sierra, the two Millonarios players who will leave for this second semester will be the wingers, Beckham David Castro, and Yúber Quiñones, who would already have teams for the next championship in the BetPlay League.

It is worth mentioning that both Castro and Quiñones are two youth players from the Albiazul team, and despite having had a great start in the professional squad, both ended up declining in their football performance until they were substitutes and without little participation.

The truth is that beyond their safe exits, both players would already have their future defined for the second semester. On the part of Beckham David Castro, the 20-year-old winger would be interested in two teams: Patriotas and Deportivo Pasto. While Yuber Quiñones would already have everything agreed to become a new Deportivo Pereira player.

Castro’s numbers were not positive if we take into account his participation in the ambassadorship since his debut in 2023, remembering that he has played 59 games in which he scored 8 goals and 4 assists in 2,523 minutes. While in the case of Quiñones he was not so relevant either, if we add that he played 71 games and only scored 3 goals and 3 assists.

Announcements are expected in the coming days from both players, who will go on loan in search of getting more minutes in case they return and Millonarios needs them. News in development.
