“It looks like it’s from a generic catalogue”: ESPN destroys the La Roja shirt

The American network ESPN chose the Chilean national team’s jersey as the worst in the Copa América, after preparing a list of the kits of the 16 teams that will participate in the continental tournament.

In the list where Mexico’s jersey was chosen as the best in the Copa América, Chile came in last place, stating that it looks like it was taken from a “generic catalog” and carrying out a harsh analysis of the complete La Roja kit.

“Inspired by the “red tide” as Chilean fans are called, the main jersey appears to have been ordered from the equipment section of a generic online catalog (…) Although the mosaic on the front forms the star of the nation’s flag, it is difficult to distinguish it and, on the other hand, “The top looks like one of those old t-shirts that all countries wore with Nike or Adidas, which had the same design, but in different colors,” indicates ESPN.

A similar analysis is carried out on La Roja’s white t-shirt, ensuring that it is the same design that thousands of high schools in the United States have.

“If you thought Chile’s main jersey looked generic, then the alternative is practically invisible. “One in three high schools in the United States has this shirt,” the article states.

Even to finish destroying the design of the shirt, the author of the article -Adam Snavely- states that the high school soccer team where he studied had the same kit as Chile’s alternative shirt.
