Falcao’s concern about signing with Millonarios: it is not money

The leadership of the ambassador team would already have the economic part fixed. There is a fear in Radamel.

With each passing day, the total agreement between Radamel Falcao García and Millonarios seems to be getting closer so that the ‘Tigre’ can be the ambassador’s bombshell signing for the second half of 2024.

The conversations between Falcao and Gustavo Serpa, the largest shareholder of Millonarios, have progressed quickly and satisfactorily. In fact, according to journalist César Augusto Londoño, “the economic issue is no longer a problem” between the player and the Bogotá club.

The figures and conditions of the contract would already be defined between the parties; although we would still have to wait to cross papers and sign a contract that binds the ambassador, in principle, for six months.

However, Radamel and his surroundings would have a great concern that does not allow him to define his future. Money is not a problem, but the safety of the footballer and that of his family is.

And the insecurity in Colombia has affected several footballers in recent times, as the kidnapping of Luis Díaz’s father is remembered; and more recently, Edwin Cardona was the victim of an attempted robbery in which the vehicle in which the player was traveling was shot at.

“All this news hits, but these things can be overcome,” said Juan Felipe Cadavid and César Augusto Londoño.
