The attention of much of the continent and fans on the other side of the world was focused on the absence of Darío Osorio’s ownership.

Ricardo Gareca’s National Team began its participation in the 2024 Copa América. Despite having at least two clear scoring chances, La Roja found it difficult to generate play from the midfield.
For this reason, fans of the national squad did not hesitate to start asking for the entry of Darío Osorio, a former player from the University of Chile who has just won in Denmark.
Before the end of the first half, the fans’ demand was “heard” by Gareca, since he was close to making the entry of the former blue player for Diego Valdés.
Around the 44th minute of play, the América de México midfielder suffered and was close to leaving, however, the La Roja coach decided to hold out for the change for the second half of the match.
Until the end of the first 45′, the match ended 0-0, where the Chilean National Team achieved greater possession of the ball, but without as much effectiveness when it came to creating dangerous plays.

Darío Osorio became a trending topic during La Roja’s match against Peru, and his name was highlighted in several languages, such as Portuguese, French and more.
