Commotion in the match between Peru and Canada in the Copa América: about the end of the first half, one of the linesmen fainted in the middle of the field and kept everyone on alert. The referee had to receive medical attention and recovered after a few minutes.

The referee was taken away on a stretcher under the watchful eyes of the spectators. The players took the opportunity to drink water, but strikingly did not come to see the situation up close.

After a few minutes, the actions were able to continue and the first half ended with the score 0-0.

As reported in the official broadcast, referee Humberto Panjoj suffered heat stroke and that’s why he fainted.
