In this edition, Spanish Carlos Alcarazthe current men’s champion, will have the honor of opening the tournament on Monday, July 1st on the Center Court. For her part, the Czech Marketa Vondrousovawomen’s winner of the 2023 edition, will play her first match on Tuesday, July 2.
The Qualifying rounds are played from June 24 to 27 so that tennis players can enter the main draw that will take place over the course of two weeks, heading towards the women’s final on Saturday, July 13 and the great definition of men of sunday july 14.
One of the traditions of Wimbledon that were eradicated is that of “Manic Monday” on the calendar. In 2021, this modality had its last experience in which all the round of 16 matches, both men and women, were played on the second Monday of the tournament and which left the intermediate Sunday without any activity in the All England.
