Huawei has brought to the Spanish market the members of its new flagship Pura 70 series, which inherits the philosophy of the P series with an Ultra Lighting camera to take clear, high-quality captures, while offering autonomy with high-capacity batteries.
Huawei has renamed its flagship P series, which will now become Pura and debuts with the Pura 70 series, recently presented in China. In Spain, the Pura 70, 70 Pro and 70 Ultra models are available for pre-sale starting this Thursday, at a price starting at 999 euros.
The company has highlighted that its new flagship line inherits the innovation in mobile imaging and design of the P series, which arrives with a “renewed attitude” to integrate “mobile photography, aesthetic design and a unique style.”
The new flagship Pura 70 Ultra adopts a soft embossed texture on the vegan leather that covers the back of the device, while the lens is surrounded by red rings and the edges of the screen have a curved design. Pura 70 Pro also features rounded corners, while Pura 70 features a flat-edge display design and a straight frame with narrow edges.
ULTRA LIGHTING CAMERA
The Pura 70 series introduces a new generation of XMAGE Ultra Lighting camera, which uses Huawei’s new XD motion engine to take ultra-fast snapshots and clearly capture moving targets at a speed of 300 km/h.
The Pura 70 ultra model, in particular, is equipped with a large main lens of one inch and a physical aperture f1.62, with a retractable structure that automatically extends during shooting. It also supports a one-inch Sensor Shift OIS, which improves image stabilization by 67 percent.
The other two models are also equipped with a new generation of the Ultra Lighting camera system. The main camera of the Pura 70 and Pura 7 0 Pro has a large 1/1.3-inch sensor and is equipped with an f1.4 physical aperture. It also features a high-precision and stable sliding guide motor, which increases focusing accuracy by 100 percent. Additionally, the anti-shake angle has been increased by 91 percent, enabling clear details to be captured even in quick snapshot scenarios.
Pura 70 Pro and 70 Ultra are also equipped with the Ultra Lighting Telephoto lens, which offers a periscopic telephoto aperture of f2.19 to capture more light and improve image quality. Also an Ultra Lighting Macro lens, which supports a minimum focusing distance of 5cm for telephoto shooting and a 35X macro zoom.
Likewise, Huawei has highlighted that the three models of the Pura 70 series cover a wide zoom range, from wide angle to telephoto, and that with the front camera, portrait photography “can naturally beautify facial features, while showing the true proportions of facial features and accurately restores the subject’s skin tones”, for a natural photograph.
RESISTANCE AND AUTONOMY
All Pura 70 series models work with the new EMUI 14.2 interface and come with a new generation of HUAWEI X-True display, with 460ppi, which emits a peak brightness of up to 2500nits, supports Ultra High Resolution display technology and AI HDR high dynamic display. It also supports an adaptive frequency rate of 1-120Hz LTPO, which intelligently adjusts according to user needs.
The Pura 70 and Pura 70 Pro models have the protection of Super Durable Kunlun Glass, which increases their resistance to accidental falls, while the Ultra model also resists scratches with the Crystal Armor Kunlun Glass, which uses a carbon material of highly transparent amorphous diamond.
Huawei has also highlighted the battery of these three smartphones. Pura 70 comes with a capacity of 4,900mAh and a 66W wired and 50W wireless fast charging system. Pura 70 Pro houses a large-capacity 5,050 mAh battery, with support for 100W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging, which can charge up to 50 percent of the battery in 15 minutes. For its part, the Ultra model, with its 5,200mAh battery, has 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging.
AVAILABILITY
Deliveries of the Pura 70 and Pura 70 Pro will begin on May 15 while those of the Pura 70 Ultra will begin on the 22nd. Huawei has announced an introductory offer whereby purchases made between May 2 and June 3 will receive the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 headphones and a free smartphone case.
Likewise, a 99 euro coupon will be delivered in the days following the purchase to be redeemed for the purchase of the Huawei Watch GT 3 46mm Active Black or Huawei Watch GT 3 42mm White smartwatch (valid for use after the launch period).
