The Lenovo Xiaoxin 100P smart projector has been launched in China. According to the listing, the model has been designed for use in a home theater. Lenovo highlights the projector’s pan and tilt feature, which allows you to rotate 360° horizontally and 170° vertically to find the best position in your room.
The Xiaoxin 100P has a 1080p resolution, supports HDR10, and can project images up to 120 inches (~305 cm) wide. Although Lenovo describes the model as ultra-short throw, it later states that it has a throw ratio of 1.0-1.24. The image is perfected using autofocus and intelligent obstacle avoidance tools. An LED light source is said to provide a brightness of up to 570 CVIA lumens, which is equivalent to about 1,300 ANSI lumens. In addition, it has a pair of built-in 5W speakers and a microphone, allowing it to respond to voice commands.
The Lenovo projector has a basic range of ports, such as HDMI, USB, and an audio jack. Other features include 2+32GB memory, built-in power supply, and Wi-Fi 6 support. You can now buy the Lenovo Xiaoxin 100P projector in China for 1,399 yuan (~$200). It is not clear if or when the product could reach other markets such as North America or Europe.
