The idea of making a series about a video game was not very attractive until a few years ago. Works like Arcane, The Witcher, Castlevania and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners from Netflix and The Last of Us from Max (formerly HBO) have shown us that there is hope for adaptations. All of them allow us to dream about series and movies of our favorite video games… and a recent one is Helldivers 2.

Making a Helldivers 2 series or movie seems truly crazy and its approach could be complicated, but a video published a few hours ago has cleared up all our doubts on the matter. Now we want an anime that shows how our soldiers spread democracy throughout the galaxy.

Its creator, kami or @KamiAnimation on Twitter (along with @ensunmada), has been inspired by a scene from Attack the titans to create the most epic intro of all the videos about helldivers 2 what’s on YouTube. The author of the video is LevelUpLifting and he talks about the magic behind the Arrowhead Game Studios game.

The animated scene features Commander Erwin from Attack on Titan and reinterprets the speech he gave in front of the Survey Corps during an attack by the Titans on the city led by the Beast Titan, which takes place during Season 3. In this case, the speech is intended to motivate the helldivers to fight the Automata. One minute and seven seconds is too short… We need more. We need a good Helldivers 2 animated series. They have created a need for us.

In VidaExtra | I’ve seen Helldivers 2’s Automata front become a “nobody wants to touch our worlds” problem, and it’s for good reason.

In VidaExtra | I have abandoned my position in Helldivers 2 to travel to the past and fulfill the wish of many players: defend SuperEarth from the Automata
