Amazon Games will launch its MMORPG New World Aeternum this year on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, leaked on the PS Store itself before its announcement. Will you address player complaints about the price of DLC?
New Worldthe successful MMORPG developed and published by Amazon Games, one of the commercial giant’s first great successes in the world of video games, will soon receive a version on consoles.
This online game came out in 2021 with great expectation, only for PC, where it has mostly positive reviews on Steam and a stable flow of players (although not without criticism).
But soon a new version will be released, subtitled New World Aternum. An ad was seen for a few hours on the PlayStation Store, and quickly captured by Reddit forums.
Insider Gaming verifies that information. He adds, according to his sources, that this version of New World will be released on PS5, Xbox Series October 2024.
This game, although originally going to be free to play, is paid (37.99 euros the standard edition on Steam).
Indeed, many of the latest negative reviews on Steam complain about the DLC prices and it seems like a pay to win (although after putting 300 hours into it).
Perhaps a version with more content and fewer micropayments is what this game needs, since this Aeternum version (which is the name of the region) will also come out on PCin addition to Sony and Microsoft consoles.
