Apple has announced tvOS 18the latest version of the software for the set-top box of Apple TV, which introduces a number of new features and improvements. Among the most notable developments is InSighta functionality similar to Amazon X-ray which provides metadata about the current scene when pausing an Apple original content show or movie. InSight displays the cast list and current soundtrack with direct links to Apple Music, and will be available in both the TV app on tvOS and on iPhone and iPad.
As for video, tvOS 18 introduces support for 21:9 aspect ratio projectors. For audio, the function Enhance Dialoguewhich improves voice isolation through machine learning, will now also be available with TV speakers, receivers and Bluetooth audio outputs, not just with HomePod. Additionally, subtitles will automatically turn on at relevant times, such as when the movie volume is muted or you go back ten seconds to repeat a scene.
The update also includes new screensavers, including an animated Snoopy and options with scenes from Apple TV+ shows. The Fitness+ app has been redesigned to improve navigation and customization, making it easier to access routines and workouts.
tvOS 18 will be available as a free update later this year, offering Apple TV users a richer, more personalized entertainment experience.

Apple has announced new features for the AirPods Pro that will launch later this year. One of the main new features is the ability to use head gestures to control the AirPods Pro. With this function, users will be able to move their head up and down, or left and right, to answer or reject calls.
Another new feature is Voice Isolation, which eliminates loud background noise so the person on the other end of the call can hear clearly. Additionally, custom spatial audio will expand to games on tvOS, enhancing the gaming experience with more immersive and tailored sound.
