For more than a month the barrier of 100,000 players in Helldivers 2 has not been surpassed, and with the latest update it has almost been achieved
This last month has not been the best for Helldivers 2, especially after the controversy with the PSN account since more than 170 countries were banned from playing. It is true that most of these countries still can’t access Arrowhead Game Studios’ cooperative shootera series of updates were not well received by the community and the title published by Sony decreased in number of players on Steam.
As reported by the VideoGamer media, Helldivers 2 has increased a 86% of its players on Steam after update 01,000,400. This can be reflected in Steam DB, and that is that on June 13 there were only 18,000 players at its lowest point, hours later it surpassed the barrier of 91,000 people. Helldivers 2 carried in a steady and slow decline for a few weeks, but it seems the dynamic has changed.
As can be seen in the image below and after the June 13 patch, Helldivers 2 considerably increased its number of players. This update has brought more than 100 changes in the quality of life, although the community has above all praised that Arrowhead has made an effort in the game balance to make the experience even more satisfying, specifically in balancing weapons and stratagems, according to the Steam website.
Helldivers 2 completely rejects a story mode
If you are one of those players who does not usually play the title multiplayer or cooperative and the Helldivers 2 proposal catches your attention, you should know that they will not include a story mode since they consider that “that is like creating a brand new game“.
