Did you know that there is a vodka Ultra-Premium What is one of the most unique drinks in the world? Fragments of a meteorite were used in its manufacture discovered in 1977.
Only 4,806 bottles have been manufactured, which sell for between 180 and 200 dollars and in addition to that exotic ingredient, it is made with wheat and organic botanical products of local origin from France, distilled with iStill -the most advanced distillation technology- and slowly reduced over a month with pure spring water from the well located 150 meters below the distillery, in Burgundy.
This cutting-edge process allows manufacturers to make small batches, creating refined and unique flavors and aromas.
The product is then aged for at least a year in a terracotta jar while the meteorite remains suspended in the center as it partially dissolves in the liquid. The initiative was led by the organic drinks company that was founded in the French region of Burgundy in 2021 and owes its name to one of the largest constellations in space.
“We explored how to embody the brand and bottle stars, and incorporating a meteorite was the closest thing we could do”explains the founder and CEO, Maxime Girardin27 years old.
This vodka, cleverly named “Shooting Star” in Spanish, it has a smooth and round mouthfeel, with a unique sweet note that complements the minerality infused by the meteorite: “The presence of chondrite, a mineral exclusive to meteorites, in the final product provides a unique mineral flavor that complements the smooth and refined texture that characterizes our vodkas”explains Girardin.
