It is not known when Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy S24 FE, but if a recent Geekbench listing is anything to go by, it could happen on July 10 in Galaxy Unpackaged. Now, we get our first look at the affordable flagship thanks to OnLeaks and Giznext. As expected, its design is nothing to write home about, although the leak confirms at least one key update.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is rumored to launch with a 6.7-inch display, much larger than any Galaxy FE smartphone. This is confirmed by its dimensions (162 mm x 77.3 mm x 8 mm), which translate into a diagonal of 6.65 inches. Otherwise, it uses a standard layout found on most Samsung phones, with three vertically aligned cameras, a punch-hole selfie camera, and coplanar power/volume buttons.

As for the specifications, we already know that the Galaxy S24 FE will come with an underclocked Exynos 2400 engine. While rumors about a Snapdragon Version exist, there is no evidence to support the claim. A memory upgrade to 12GB of RAM also seems unlikely, as it would risk undercutting the price of the vanilla Galaxy S24 ($599 on Amazon) which tops out at 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM. If its price is around $500, the Galaxy S24 FE could emerge as an attractive mid-high range, at least in markets where OEMs such as Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi and Honor do not operate.
