“The Riot client is running”, an annoying message that many players of Valorant, League of Legends and other Riot Games games see and for which in many cases they cannot find the solution. One way to fix it is to uninstall the games completely, having to reinstall them later, but with the convenience of not seeing this message.

How to uninstall Valorant permanently

The first thing we will have to do is uninstall Valorant if we have it open, and once we have exited we will also have to close the Riot Games client. How do we do it? We go to the lower right corner of our screen, press the arrow, locate the client icon, right click and choose the option go out. If we do not close the two applications we could encounter errors when uninstalling the game.

Once we have done it, we go to the lower right corner of our screen and look for the applications section. Once inside, we will have to find Valorant, either by typing it in the search engine or manually, which will not be very complicated because its initial letter will be found at the end of the list. We choose everything that comes out with Valorant, normally it will be just an application, and we choose the option uninstall. Once it has been uninstalled, it is advisable to delete all the files that belong to the game and are still on our PC. To do this, we go to the file explorer and look for the Riot Games folder, enter and delete the Valorant folder.

How to uninstall League of Legends permanently

To eliminate League of Legends we have to follow what was previously written with Valorant, but focusing on the MOBA from Riot Games. Once we have done this, it is worth opening the menu Execute, being one of the most comfortable options to do it by pressing the Windows key and R at the same time. Once we have it, we write %appdata% and click to accept. In the AppData folder we will look for the Local section, and once inside we will look for Riot Games and we will proceed to delete all folders related to League of Legends. We also have to make sure to empty the Recycle Bin. In this way we will have permanently eliminated the game. We can also do this last option with Valorant.
