models that are intended to update existing models, but as in the case of the Wide, they had not received any news for quite some time. This time we are talking about two models that are going to go on sale in our country next July. Two models with different virtues and well differentiated formats that we are going to learn about below.

New Instax mini LiPlay

This is the most compact model of both cameras, but we can say that it is the most versatile of both. And with this camera we can not only take great photos, but it is potentially a portable printer as well. This new model actually it is a digital camera which allows you to do something that is not always possible in instant cameras, such as see the result just before printing the photo. In this case, since it has an integrated screen, we can choose to review the different photos we have taken, and then print them on Instax paper, which, as you know, does not need additional ink to work.

This new model is a renewal of the one currently on the market, and now offers us a USB type C connector to recharge it, and with a Improved firmware that is now easier to update. You just have to connect the camera to the app to update it. In addition to the new range of colors Matcha Green, Misty White and Deep Bronze, these new features, we will continue to enjoy their interesting features, such as 13 different design frames or 6 filters. Additionally, the app gives us access to 60 additional frames to edit the photos. This new model is launched in Spain on next July 19, 2024 for 169.99 euros.

New Fuji Instax Wide 400

This camera is totally different, and is aimed at a very different audience than usual in the case of Instax cameras. And we are looking at a model that catches the eye, with a evident retro air and considerable size that will not go unnoticed wherever we take it. This is the first update of this model, which was originally launched 10 years ago now. A camera that, as its name reminds us, has something that makes it very different, and that is its format.

This is WIDE, which is a photographic paper twice the size of other traditional Instax cameras, and that is already a clear advantage over other models. While the LiPlay is a digital camera, this one is completely analogue, at least when it comes to composing the image, there are no sensors here, just lenses. But there is something completely automated, such as the exposure, this is recorded and adjusted by the camera automatically, and controls the intensity of the flash based on the scene we are capturing.

Besides You can take both distant photos, with landscape mode, and beautiful portraits for approaching people between 3 meters and 30 centimeters, thanks to the accessory integrated with it. Therefore we can also take macro photos with magnificent results. It also has a lever automatic timer, which gives it a retro touch and is also very useful. The LED indicators warn us of the time left for it to shoot. We can configure up to 10 seconds of delay.

And one more detail, and very analogous, as it is a camera tilt angle adjustment, which emerges from the bottom to adjust the inclination when taking the photo. These prevent us from having to use a tripod on many occasions. This new Instax Wide 400 goes on sale in Spain on Next July 12 for 149.99 euros.
