The official Elden Ring manga has gone on hiatus so that its creator has time to play the game’s expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree.

According to the Automaton report (Via IGN), the author of Elden Ring: The Road to the Erdtree, Nikiichi Tobita announced through Twitter, that eThe manga will not be published this week, in order to spend time playing the DLC that will arrive on June 21.

The author accompanied the advertisement with a drawing of himself sleeping and dreaming of one of the new beasts that will arrive with the long-awaited expansion.

Shadow of the Erdtree, the long-awaited Elden Ring expansion, will arrive this June 21 on different platforms.

As detailed by Bandai Namco, in this new story “guided by the empyrean Miquellathe players are transported to the Shadow Landa place overshadowed by the Golden Tree where the goddess Marika was established first. In these strange lands, players will discover the dark secrets of the world and meet others who follow in the footsteps of Miquella for various hidden reasons.

In this way, this expansion along with a new place to explore adds weapons, Magic, weapon skills and equipment new, as well as new enemiesencounters with bosses and a new story that complements the one presented by the original game.

According to what was recently learned, more than 60% of players will not be able to jump directly to the DLC, this is because the vast majority have not defeated the optional boss necessary to unlock the new content.
