Summer in League of Legends will be entertaining thanks to the Ánima Squad event! Riot Games has released all the details about its brand new LoL event for this summer. It will have the Anima Squad theme and will feature releases of a new set of skins and a New themed game mode!. Under the name of Swarma new cooperative game mode comes to LoL and promises to fulfill the wishes of many of the community users.
Almost 8 years after the release of Odyssey, Riot Games innovates again in League of Legends with a totally different game mode than what we are used to in its MOBA. The new game mode, Swarm, will consist of a cooperative survival against waves of monsters. Similar to some titles in the Roguelike genre, Swarm will place us in Last Bastion, a place attacked by the Primordians, malevolent creatures that seek to wipe out humanity. We will represent the Squadron Animain a fun and chaotic confrontation in mode cooperative.
Swarm, the “Vampire Survivors” of LoL
To fight countless waves and final bosses, Swarm It will grant us unique improvements as the game progresses. This is a classic feature of this style of games, with the most popular of the genre being the title Vampire Survivorsa game where we annihilate monsters while acquiring improvements that increase our power clear waves.
In Swarm We will have the same objective and similar gameplay. To further distinguish itself from any other League of Legends game mode, Swarm will feature classic League of Legends controls. WASD to move. While our mouse will be waiting to select the improvements for our arsenal. Making constant movements to avoid being damaged and hitting simultaneously with our arsenal of improvements, in Swarm the skills will only be in the [E] and [R] being special attacks for complicated moments.
Finally, unlike almost all games in the Roguelike genre, Enjambre will have a cooperative system. We will be able to face the games with a team of up to 3 companions, with 4 in total to defend the Primordians’ outpost. As we could see in the trailera team with good synergy and a well-loaded arsenal will be necessary to defend the Last Bastion.
All LoL champions available in Swarm
As we mentioned previously, the protagonists of Enjambre will be the champions of the new Ánima Squad set. While on the villains side, we have the bosses of the Primordians, who will also receive aspects within LoL. Below is the list of playable champions in Swarm and the final bosses:

In turn, all these champions will receive their skin Squadron Anima and Primordian, respectively (except Jinx and Riven who already had one). In the case of Aatrox and Seraphine They will be quality aspects legendary. While Leona and Yuumi will receive prestige editions accompanying the release of their respective skins.
Note: During our Swarm games we will use the Anima Squad skins of the selected champion regardless of whether you have unlocked it in the store or not.
Finally miss Fortune, the admiral who will guide us during the defense, will also have an exclusive skin during the summer event. Both these skins and the Swarm game mode will be available at the launch of the summer event. This will be coming to official LoL customers on the day Wednesday July 17same day where dawnthe new champion will come to the game.
