TOnthropic, the AI developer created by former OpenAI employees, has announced a new language model belonging to its Claude family recently deployed in Europe. Along with the new model, Anthropic has also introduced Artifacts, a new feature that aims to improve the user experience and expand the way users interact with Claude 3.5 Sonnet.
Artifacts works as a kind of preview of the creation process. When the user asks the model to design something (code snippets, text documents, or website layouts), a side screen will be displayed where they can interact with and edit results in real time directly in the application. Thus “creates a dynamic workspace where they can view, edit and develop Claude’s creations in real time, seamlessly integrating AI-generated content into their projects and workflows.”
