Just a little while ago we talked about a list of news for EA Sports FC 25 that would have been leaked. Well, the account of @FutPoliceLeaks seems to provide a lot of information about one of them, the supposed 4 vs 4 game mode that would be included in Ultimate Team. It would even have a name: “PENTA”.
Reportedly leaked information about PENTA from EA Sports FC 25
- It would be based on 5 vs 5 matches that would be played on grass fields, but with smaller dimensions than normal (they would not be full field matches).
- The teams would be formed by goalkeepers managed by the CPU, while each user would control a single footballer (belonging to his Ultimate Team club). Therefore, it is not that one person directs the entire team, but rather that each person must be exclusively in charge of one player.
- We would have the option of team up with three friendsbut we could also simply play with strangers with whom we would be assigned randomly (it is not clear if there would be some type of criteria or if it would be by pure chance).
- They would appear objectives related to this mode (PENTA) that would have different style requirements of maximum 80 average, maximum 90 pace, etc.
- PENTA would not replace Squad Battles, but would be an extra mode. And he comments that Squad Battles would be renewed in EA Sports FC 25.
- @FutPoliceLeaks clarifies that the video game is in the testing period, and that therefore EA could include changes when it finally comes out. Therefore, I would not take this information as completely safe (although given the history of the leaker, I do give him some confidence. I suppose it is not a simple invention to attract attention, because he has already released a lot of content that later reached Ultimate Team ).
Personally I would be quite happy if the leak is true and we see PENTA in EA Sports FC 25, although I would have preferred this mode to also allow one-on-one play in front of other users. That we controlled the entire team.
But in any case, if it is well planned and has an attractive reward system, It could be a very interesting novelty to provide greater variety. A very different mode than usual in Ultimate Team, which will probably be more fun and less demanding.
