The Descendant player count on Valve’s marketplace is skyrocketing just days before the free-to-play shooter launches

Every year there are so many games released, many of them really tempting to give a try, that it is difficult not to come across two titles named in a similar way. From a few hundred players to 129,000 in days
Just a couple of days after Summer Game Fest 2024, and according to data from SteamDB, The Descendant went from having activity peaks of less than a thousand users to gathering more than 50,000 players at the same time. Then it went down again, but we assume that this recent activity made it appear more easily in players’ searches to the point that Yesterday it had 128,847 people enjoying your episodic science fiction adventure. The majority, by the way, leaving good comments in the reviews.
