Niantic introduces a new game mode that will make Pikmin Bloom a much more social experience

Niantic keeps working with great care in all of their Augmented Reality video games. Pikmin Bloomthe title based on the franchise created by Shigeru Miyamoto, also receives news and improvements for its community, and the most recent addition will include a new game mode: the Festive Walk, which will allow enjoy Pikmin Bloom in the company of friends creating large groups of users with whom to simultaneously share the experience.
Pikmin Bloom becomes more social than ever
Pikmin Bloom, which has been in operation for more than 2 years, has, from this June 27a new game mode that will allow maximize rewards obtained through teamwork. This mode, the Holiday Walk, will allow other users to join in the same group that, temporarily, will combine the steps of all users in a choral and collaborative exercise.
One of the biggest advantages is that Groups have no size limit, so the more people who join the same group, the greater the number of steps that can be accumulated. In this way, Niantic wants to reinforce the interest of players in Pikmin Bloom and achieve objectives based on collaboration with more people, enhancing the social factor of a game that takes place through real life.
Niantic’s goal: diversify the formula
There is no doubt that Niantic has a very difficult time replicate a commercial success like Pokémon GO, a title that has been one of the most popular Android games for 8 years. In fact, along the way they have also closed some other games, such as Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, which was canceled 2 years after its release, where they did not get the expected support.
However, there are also cases where the system has worked successfully, like Pikmin Bloom’s own, with two and a half years in operation.
