You have a new way to interact with your followers from now on. instagramsince all content creators will be able to use AI Studio to make an AI chatbot of themselves, and thus avoid responding personally to fans’ requests.

The announcement was made this Thursday, June 27, by Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg.

As part of the test, “you may start seeing AI from your favorite creators and interest-based AI in the coming weeks on Instagram,” according to Zuckerberg. “These will primarily appear in posts for now, and will be clearly labeled as AI.”

Zuckerberg shared some videos of conversations with AI chatbots created by creators as examples. From a creator’s Instagram, you can tap the “Message” button to start a conversation. A notice at the top says the messages are generated by AI and “some may be inaccurate or inappropriate.” Also includes “AI” in front of the creator’s name andat least for now, a “beta” label after the person’s name.

“We’ve been working closely with creators to build them so they’re helpful in answering questions they get from their followers and can chat with people in a helpful and fun way,” Zuckerberg says. “It’s early days and it’s the first beta of these AIs, so we’ll keep working to improve them and make them available to more people soon.”
