Steam World Heist II was revealed in April during a Nintendo Indie World Showcase, where it was announced for Switch. Shortly after, its arrival on the rest of the platforms was confirmed, including Xbox. Its revelation caused excitement among many fans, since the franchise enjoys good popularity and the first installment captivated players with its world, its characters and its strategy mechanics.
The first trailer released by Thunderful confirmed that Steam World Heist II It was planned to arrive on Xbox Game Pass as a day 1 premiere. However, we now know that it was all a mistake and that the title will not be on the Microsoft service.
The studio deleted the various posts on social media and edited the video where it was confirmed that the title would arrive on Xbox Game Pass next month. August 8th. According to the company, everything originated from an oversight in the editing of promotional material of the sequel.
