GENESEO — Steve Zabrocki and David Dwyer have been members of the Geneseo Fire Department for more than 50 years.

Zabrocki, now the department’s assistant chief, joined in 1973 while in high school after moving to Geneseo from Buffalo. A high school friend was interested in the fire department so Zabrocki followed him to a meeting.
