In that sense, the coordinating director of municipal Transit, Héctor Ragnoli, told 0223 that the objective of this measure is “reduce noises and what this causes in children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)”, although he added that “Noise pollution affects us all.”
Although the official maintained that ordinance 12,032 is currently applied, which is linked “to annoying noises in general”, such as “full acceleration, warming up and testing engines, annoying noises at construction sites, or those that spread music” , in this case he pointed out that “What this new ordinance does is regulate what the penalty is.”
“Within the penalty, which proceeds to the seizure of the motorcycle, in this case it requires the owner of the vehicle to change the exhaust before removing it,” he added.
On the other hand, Ragnoli mentioned: “In addition, something is generated that seems excellent to me: reduces noises, and what this causes in children with ASD, that is, with autism spectrum disorder.
In that sense, the official emphasized the talks they give from the Transit area in schools, where, as he indicated, “we talk about autism spectrum disorder, even in the symbology, since sometimes the autistic person is like looking the traffic light and maybe he doesn’t know what action he has to take. “A bridge to understanding would be the creation of pictograms, that is, indicating when the traffic light is red, to avoid crossing, and when it is green, to be able to cross.
