The case of two men accused of murder after human remains were discovered in Salford was heard before a judge this morning. Michal Jaroslaw Polchowski, 68, and Marcin Majerkiewicz, and 45, both from Eccles, have been charged with murder.
Their alleged victim has today (Tuesday) been named by police as 67-year-old Stuart Everett. The case was called on at Manchester Crown Court this morning for a preliminary hearing before Judge Nicholas Dean KC, the Honorary Recorder of Manchester.
The pair, both of Worsley Road, Eccles, appeared before Tameside Magistrates’ Court on Monday afternoon. They were remanded in custody after the case was transferred to the Crown court.

GMP said human remains have been discovered at Kersal Dale, Blackleach Reservoir and Colliery Wood in Salford over the past three weeks.
Further remains were found yesterday in an alleyway close to railway lines off Worsley Road in Eccles.
