The measure is for tomorrow’s shift due to the Zonda wind. In the rest of the province, the educational service is provided with complete normality.

Due to meteorological records that confirm gusts of Zonda wind and following the recommendations of the Directorate of Civil Defense, the General Directorate of Schools (DGE) informs that today, Monday, April 29, in-person classes are suspended for the tomorrow shift in the schools of all levels and modalities in the department of Tupungato, and in the Manzano Historico (Tunuyán) and Potrerillos (Luján de Cuyo) districts.

In the rest of the province, the educational service is provided with complete normality. The school activity must be developed virtually through the Escuela Digital Mendoza educational platform, as established by Resolution 2023-25-E-GDEMZA-DGE, in its Annex 1, point 13.

Full-day schools must finish activities at the usual time.

Hostel schools must comply with their usual in-person calendar. In the event that the release time coincides with the occurrence of the meteorological phenomenon, the risk involved in doing so must be evaluated and, if necessary, delay the activity, in accordance with the provisions of Resolution 2023-25. -E-GDEMZA-DGE, Annex 1, point 15.

In the case of physical education classes, schools must reschedule them in accordance with the provisions of Article 7 of Resolution 2023-25-E-GDEMZA-DGE.
