Peronist Governor Martín Llaryora signed with the radical mayor Jorge Graziano the contribution of 120 million pesos. The Province also committed 25 million to Civil Defense for the future Volunteer Firefighters detachment, which will depend on the Las Higueras barracks. This last institution will receive 20 million pesos. Housing deeds were also delivered.
The religious activity was presided over by the Bishop of Río Cuarto, Adolfo Uriona, who with the parish priest of the Sanctuary, Daniel Gallardo, led the large procession with institutional representations of the town, the Arsenales Battalion 604 José María Rojas and its Fray music band Luis Beltran. Members of the Department of High Risk Units (DUAR) of the Provincial Police and pilgrims also participated.
The governor was accompanied by the Secretary of Government, Manuel Calvo; Secretary General of the Interior, David Consalvi, Secretary of Institutional Cooperation, Osvaldo Arduh; legislator of the Juárez Celman department, Graciela Bisotto; legislator of the Río Cuarto department, Ariel Grich, and the bishop of the Diocese of Concepción de Río Cuarto, Adolfo Uriona.
