Wynonna Judd will be singing the national anthem at the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby.
“I’m excited,” Judd told The Courier-Journal at Kentucky Oaks on Friday evening. “This is the 150th year, so they knew who to pick in terms of patriotic and being a proud Kentuckian. It’s just number one on my list.”
The national anthem performance is scheduled to take place shortly after 5 pm EDT and will be included as part of NBC’s live coverage.
