Authorities recovered a bloody, medieval-style spear from the scene of what was believed to be a murder-suicide in Santa Ana, California.

Police are investigating the deaths of a young woman and an older man whose bodies were found Thursday afternoon at a storage facility in the city about 35 miles south of Los Angeles.

A third man, who was found alive at the scene, later died.

Santa Ana Police said the woman called them shortly before 4:30 pm to report “her boyfriend stabbed her and her uncle.”
