The Venezuelan reliever of Guardianes de Fubon, Enderson Franco, added this Tuesday his first win of the season in the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL; by its official acronym) in Taiwan, after his team defeated Halcones de TSG 1-0 in a meeting that reached 10 entries.

Anzoatiguense law; who recently reached 100 appearances in Taiwanese ball, was the third reliever employed by manager Qiu Chang Rong. He threw 25 pitches (17 in the strike zone) during the ninth inning, which he retired without major damage; Well, he allowed two hits, walked one and struck out three opponents, to maintain his immaculate effectiveness throughout 12 innings of work.
However, Enderson Franco has only allowed one unearned run, accumulating 17 guillotines, a 1-1 record and four saves in the same number of opportunities.
It should be noted that Nivaldo Rodríguez was Fubon’s starter in that game; leaving without a decision by pitching six and two-thirds innings, in which he allowed four hits, walked one and hit six opponents, reducing his earned run average in this contest to 1.89.
