The UN-REDD Program and The World Bank, in collaboration with its Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) and BioCarbon Fund Initiative for Sustainable Forest Landscapes (ISFL) and under the guidance of the Norwegian Government, is organizing the upcoming REDD+ Knowledge Day.

Objective:

The REDD+ Knowledge Day is a collaborative effort aimed at fostering an exchange of knowledge and experiences relevant to critical facets of REDD+ implementation. This initiative seeks to contribute to evidence-based actions, policy formulation, and the enhancement of the practitioner network on key issues.

Agenda Highlights:

The event will feature discussions on technical subjects, including but not limited to:

  • Benefit Sharing in Practice
  • Next-generation MRV in REDD+ countries
  • Private Sector Engagement in REDD+
  • Managing transactions of ER titles
  • The Future of REDD+ Financing Architecture
  • From REDD+ to broader AFOLU and integrated land-use
  • Detailed agenda will be shared later.

Attendance: The event anticipates an audience of approximately 100-120 participants.
