Tens of citizens expressed their discontent and annoyance due to the delay that was generated in the opening of boxes and in special boxes in different municipalities of the Mexico City.

Citizens who lined up from 6 in the morning or from 7, could not vote until after nine in the morning due to the delays that occurred in their different polling stations, and special polling stations due to the lack of organization of the officials. of polling stations, the lack of electoral material or the absence of personnel to operate the polling stations.

The box in section 4748, located in the Old Archbishop’s Palace, where President Andrés Manuel López Obrador voted, had a delay of 20 minutes.

The box corresponding to section 1373, located in the Gustavo A. Madero delegation, began operations one hour late, which generated the annoyance of citizens who denounced a lack of coordination and training on the part of the representatives of the INE.

“What a bad organization, we arrived at 6:30 in the morning, it is 9:00 in the morning and they don’t open, the polling station representatives are not trained,” denounced Jorge Ramírez, first in line.

With a delay of more than an hour, the polling station in section 4870 in the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office began to receive voters who took it patiently and it was at 9:00 a.m. when it began to flow.

Another reason that caused citizens’ anger is the lack of organization because many officials arrived late, did not organize the voters and gave priority to the elderly as they arrived.

The box in section 720 located in Huihuitla alley, Coyoacán mayor’s office, where the Secretary of the Interior, Luisa María Alcalde, voted, had a delay of 30 minutes.
