While passing through Mendoza, the then “Super Minister” was going to give a press conference at the Aconcagua hotel in that city. In front of the assembled press, Cavallo begins to speak and suddenly… his light eyes widen and he remains silent. Nobody understands anything. Then Cavallo breaks his silence by saying “Charly García just flew through the window.” Obviously, at that moment, the press that was interested in “economic issues” immediately changed its coverage and the news was different. different from just another boring press conference.
