At a press conference, accompanied by Gerardo Fernández Noroña, some party candidates and other allies, the Morenista assured that “once again the people of Mexico have shown that wants to live in democracy”.
According to him, based on different exit surveys, the cherry match won the elections in Chiapas, Tabasco, Veracruz, Yucatán, Morelos, Puebla, Jalisco and the Mexico City.

“We cannot make a single reference to the federal election, but we can say: we have very good news”he declared, before declaring victory in the country’s capital.
Subsequently, Delgado recalled that Morena set the goal of going for 10 out of 10: the eight governorships, the Head of Government and the 2024 Presidency; so he decided to first declare victory in favor of Clara Brugada Molinacandidate of the ‘Let’s Keep Making History’ coalition.
“I allow myself to inform you that according to the five exit surveys that we have, we have a resounding victory for Clara Brugadawho will be the next head of government of this city,” declared to applause.
It also ensured victory for:
- Jalisco, with Claudia Delgadillo.
- Veracruz, with Rocío Nahle.
- Yucatan, with Huacho Diaz Mena.
- Morelos, with Margarita González Saravia.
- Puebla, with Alejandro Armenta.
He stated that Chiapas and Tabasco were separate.
“It is a brutal, enormous difference that the polls show in favor of Eduardo Ramírez and Javier Mai (respectively),” he declared.
