If you have a Apple Watch and you like to run, you’re in luck because next 5th JuneApple will hold a new activity challenge to commemorate the World Running Day. A challenge in which you must complete a race to get the distinctive challenge medal, which will be saved in the Fitness app, as well as the stickers for the Messages app.

This is not the first activity challenge we have this year, as several have already been held, such as start the year on the right foot, the month of the heart, or the World Meditation Day that was celebrated in May. This time, it is a little more complex than the other times, but it is still a motivation to complete it.

If you want to complete the challenge, you will have to run 5 km

To complete the challenge of World Running DayYou will have to log a workout of at least 5 km by road, trail, track or treadmill. Once the required kilometers have been completed, the relevant medal will be obtained and saved in the Fitness app.

The training can be registered with the Workout app on the Apple Watch or with any application that is compatible with the Health app and that you can record the data in it. This means that you are not limited to the native app; Virtually all sports apps can be used.

This time, it is a little more complex than other challenges we have had this year, which were based on doing half an hour of exercise. However, this time we must run 5 km, which is perhaps a little less accessible. However, it is still a motivational incentive for both more experienced runners and novices to complete.

So now you know, if you have an Apple Watch and enjoy running, next June 5, Apple has a new challenge for you. A very good way to warm up for what’s coming next week at WWDC 2024.
