Vernestra Rwoh (Rebecca Henderson) returns from the High Republic novels and comics, but most of the characters are new: Dafne Keen is Jecki Lon, Sol’s Padawan. Jodie Turner-Smith transforms into mother Aniseya, while Charlie Barnett dons the Jedi robes to be Yord Fandar. Joonas Suotamo takes off Chewbacca’s skin, but puts on the suit of Kelnacca, another Wookiee, this time a Jedi. The stars of the cast also include Manny Jacinto and Dean-Charles Chapman.
‘Star Wars: The Acolyte’ has been translated as ‘The Acolyte’ in Spanish and It will be the first live-action series set in the High Republic. ‘Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures’ is now available on Disney+ and is an animated series for the little ones in the house.
