Almost 60 families in Quines can now access natural gas

Governor Claudio Poggi, together with Mayor Antonella Macías, inaugurated works long awaited by residents, which improve the quality of life.

Home heating, economy in the kitchen or even a tool for a personal entrepreneurship. The arrival of natural gas to the 59 Homes neighborhood of Quines marks a before and after in that neighborhood, it means great relief and adds comfort.

This Thursday at noon, the Governor and the Mayor led the inauguration ceremony of the work, which consisted of the installation and distribution network of natural gas and the connections to the neighbors’ cabinets. It demanded an investment of more than $49 million. “The neighbors are very happy because it is a great work,” said Macías.

These works, which sometimes go unnoticed because they are buried, are more than valuable. Now, The inhabitants must complete the procedure at Ecogas to bring the gas inside their homes. “This is very important for us, it is an advance for the town, we are all super happy,” said Mercedes Maldonado, a neighbor who benefited from the initiative.
